OLUWASEUN OGUNLA

I am Oluwaseun Ogunla, a clinical psychologist. I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Lagos. I am a member of the Nigeria Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association and also a member of the Employee Assistance Professionals of Nigeria. I have about four years of clinical experience with a core interest in mood disorders, trauma, stress, and substance use disorders.

I currently work with the Wellness arm of Primly Services Ltd. as a Clinical Psychologist/Wellness Therapist. I am also the team lead for the Employee Wellness Program, a service which is built to help organisation staff of all levels to better balance their personal lives with work so as to achieve optimal productivity and overall positive well-being.

Clinical psychologist with 4 years of work experience devoted to serving and supporting clients in meaningful ways, listening to their concerns and helping them learn how to approach their mental, emotional, and behavioural problems differently. Confident in providing proficient evidenced based therapeutic approaches to individual, school, families and organisations with consideration to cultural backgrounds. Wellness therapist with experience in helping clients with skills to thrive and achieve their goals and live optimally by equipping them with skills and techniques to balance the dimensions of wellness. Excels at providing short term and long-term counselling and confidential workplace assessment and professional development, training and support to clients to aid that manage personal problems that affect their work performance.

NAJA’ATU GARBA AHMED

Naja’atu is the manager, Wellness arm of Primly Services.

She is also a Clinical Psychologist trained in India. Has an array of 5 years of clinical experience and years of managerial experience – has provided psycho-social support services and managed individuals dealing with a range of psychological issues such as eating disorders, major depressive disorder, anxiety, trauma, sleep, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorder, addiction, emotional or behavioural issues among others.

She has worked in mental health facilities in both Nigeria and India, provided psychological first aid, crisis support, psychological assessment and treatment to individuals of different age groups and backgrounds, including those living with HIV, Cancer and other health concerns.

Interestingly, she is also a passionate Wellness Therapist, who is not only focused on an illness model, but she is also particular about individuals who want to live a happier, satisfying and healthier life. She professionally supports and guides individuals to modify their lifestyle while focusing on all eight dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, social, financial, intellectual, spiritual, occupational and environmental wellness), guides them in developing life skills such as emotional intelligence, emotional regulation, stress management, sleep hygiene, work-life integration among others.

She is a mental health advocate, and she believes that people who are struggling deserve quality of care, safe space and support that they require.
